Designers of OJSC “METP NAMED AFTER V.I.KOZLOV” has developed a three-phase oil-immersed transformer ТМГ- 21 for power transformation in grids

Rated power of transformer – 2000 kVA, HV rated voltage – 20 kV, HV voltage ratio – ± 2×2,5%.

HV Voltage ratio is carried out without excitation with a five-step switch. Drive component of switch

is taken out to a tank cover. LV rated voltage 0,4kV.

Vector group – Dyn11

HV and LV terminals are located on a transformer cover.

Transformer tank is welded, rectangular and consists of upper frame, corrugated frame, ring and bottom with welded channel bars.

LV winding is made from aluminium tape.

HV winding is madefrom aluminium wire.

For oil-level control transformer is equipped with float-type oil-level indicator, located on its top.

Transformer is designed for moderate climate (installation category -U) – temperature range from -45 up to +40 ˚С

Such a transformer was designed upon request of the company that manufactures equipment for the largest Belarusian solar power plant that are being

built in Bragin district, Gomel province.

10 transformers are successfully passed tests.
