Purpose:

Transformers are designed to convert electricity as part of the electrical equipment of excavators and drilling rigs. Transformers allow operation under conditions of shaking, vibration, inertial forces during acceleration and braking of the turntable, in roll and trim conditions up to 12°.


Transformers of the TMEG and TMBG series are designed to convert electricity as part of the electrical equipment of excavators and drilling rigs, respectively, in moderate (from plus 35 to minus 45 °C) or in cold (from plus 35 to minus 60 °C).

The environment is non-explosive, dustiness is not more than 100 mg/m3.

Installation height above sea level no more than 1000 m.

It is allowed to operate at an ambient temperature of up to plus 45 °C while reducing the load by 15%.  In the range of ambient temperatures from minus 60 to plus 10 °C the load can be increased by 10%.

The rated frequency is 50 Hz.  Voltage regulation is carried out in the range up to ± 5% on a completely disconnected transformer (ПБВ) by switching the branches of the HV winding in steps of 2.5%.

According to GOST 11677, the maximum deviations of the technical parameters of the transformers are: short-circuit voltage ± 10%;  short circuit loss on the main branch + 10%;  loss of idling + 15%;  gross weight + 10%.

Transformers allow operation under conditions of jolting, vibration, inertial forces during acceleration and braking of the turntable, in conditions  roll and trim up to 12o.  Nominal operating values ​​of mechanical external influencing factors of transformers for mechanical design group M29, while:

  •  the maximum amplitude of the acceleration of sinusoidal vibration up to 5 m · s-2 (0.5 g);
  •  the upper frequency of the range of sinusoidal vibration up to 35 Hz.  Transformers of the TMEG and TMBG series of tight execution, without oil conservatives.  Temperature changes in the oil volume are compensated by a change in the volume of the tank corrugations due to their elastic deformation.

To measure the temperature of the upper layers of oil on the transformer cover, a sleeve is provided for installing a liquid glass thermometer.

The conclusions of the HV and HV transformers are closed by a casing protecting them from mechanical damage and the possibility of accidental contact with live parts  parts.  Degree of protection IP23.  TMBG transformers are equipped with a sled.
